Acupuncturist:  Olga M. Mardach-Duclerc M.Sc, L.Ac, Dipl.OM, ADS

Olga is an alumnus of the New York College of Health Professions with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, a B.Sc in Health Sciences and is Board Certified through the NCCAOM. 

 

Trained and nationally certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist with a focus on pain relief and recovery from addiction, Olga uses integrative herbalism.   This combines Chinese and Western herbs, with a focus on locally sourced materials.   She continues her specialization in Cannabis studies and acupuncture pain relief plus is an advocate with the Vermont Cannabis Nurses Association.

 

Prior to studying Chinese Medicine, Olga was an EMT-Paramedic in NYC for 12 years, a Birth Worker (Doula/Lactation Counselor)  for 9 years and a Community Health Educator for 20 years. She did her undergraduate studies at the City College of New York in Education and Biology. Olga also teaches locally and has an additional practice in Burlington and Lamoille County.  

Types of Services and Price Schedule

Acupuncture

First session includes full evaluation.  I may perform some additional physical examinations depending on your individual health needs. Using these unique assessment tools, recommend a proper treatment plan to address your particular condition with first acupuncture treatment.  (Approx. 60-90 min.)

 

Most pain and physical injuries can be treated in less than 10 visits. Follow up visits (45-60 min) 

 

Currently Olga accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield.  

Prices range from $85-$220

Herbal Consultations

As a trained herbalist I provide herbal consultations based on symptoms and diagnosed illness.

 

There are more than 450 substances commonly used in Chinese herbal medicine - You may find some in your kitchen, such as ginger, garlic and cinnamon, while others such as chrysanthemum and peony flowers, are more likely to be found in your garden!

 

Consultations are $45. This does not include the cost for the herbs.

Cupping

Cupping Therapy has been a part of Chinese Medicine for over 2,500 years.    It relieves aches and pains, improves circulation, and also helps with respiratory and digestive issues.

 

It can be stand alone therapy and can treat a variety of illnesses including helping with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and general well being. It is a type of deep-tissue massage.

 

Cupping Therapy Sessions are 30 minutes and cost $45 per session.
