Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy uses an assessment process to identify imbalances in body chemistry. These imbalances or nutritional deficiencies are corrected through diet, lifestyle changes and targeted nutrients. Nutritional therapists do not diagnose or treat disease, but work to correct imbalances with the goal of gently guiding individuals back on the path to health.  The emphasis is on real food, preferably organic, with the nutritional therapist work together with the client to develop a personalized wellness and nutrition plan. This will be a nutritional plan that works for the client and his or her. lifestyle.   The diet may also involve the use of supplements to ensure that the mineral and vitamin requirements are met.
